sweet spots: cold spring, ny

coldspring1Most people know I’m pretty obsessed with quaint small towns, so it never comes as a surprise when I get recommendations of places to visit.  When Tommy’s cousin told me I would love Cold Spring, we waited for some nice weather and drove up there for a day of antiquing, lunching, and hiking.  Pretty much the trifecta in my mind, especially when the day ends with a home-made ice cream cone and a bag full of local-organic goodies.

The hike was a little more strenuous than my floral hat and I were expecting, but I managed, and the view from the top was beautiful and very worth it.  If you live in the NY area, I would definitely recommend taking a day or weekend trip to this adorable litte spot.

I’m wearing: American Eagle hat, Stem top, Forever 21 leggings, Nike sneakers, and a Banana Republic bag.

Some cute vintage finds.

The most refreshing iced tea after that hike.

The General Store was my favorite part where I found organic local honey and maple sugar!coldspring13
